Construction Technology

1. Ensure that the steel structure substrate is thoroughly decontaminated and rust-proofed. At least two coats of premium anti-rust primer are recommended to be applied.

2. Once the primer has dried completely, remove any dust and dirt from the anti-rust paint's surface before applying the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Stir the product thoroughly before use. Typically, application is performed by brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, adjust viscosity with a diluent, keeping usage below 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Follow a systematic approach during application: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-out, tackling challenging areas first, then easier ones, and ensuring thorough coverage.

5. Determine the necessary coating thickness and layers based on fire protection standards set by design specifications and fire department guidelines.

6. To maximize adhesion, the first coating layer should not exceed 0.4mm thickness. Apply subsequent layers only after each has dried completely until the design-specified total thickness is achieved.

7. Maintain optimal construction conditions with temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC and humidity below 85%. Avoid application during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or condensation on steel surfaces.

8. Avoid tinting the primary fire-retardant coating.

9. Allow more than 24 hours of interval between successive coating layers to ensure optimal curing.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for specific details on construction dosage and coating thickness required at each stage of the process.

Notes

1. If utilizing airless spraying, ensure the use of a specialized sprayer. Avoid overly diluting the coating to maintain product adhesion. Refrain from application when wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. Ensure impeccable application by maintaining rigorous control over the product dosage during construction.

3. Store the product in a controlled environment with temperatures ranging between 0-38ºC. It is crucial to keep it away from any sources of fire or excessive heat and protect it from direct sunlight exposure to maintain its integrity.

4. Enjoy the reassurance of a product with a commendable storage period of 12 months, providing peace of mind and reliability for your projects.
