Construction Technology

1. Begin by ensuring the steel structure is properly decontaminated and rust-proofed. Typically, two coats of a premium anti-rust primer are recommended.

2. Once the primer has thoroughly dried, cleanse the anti-rust paint surface of any dust or dirt before applying the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Prior to use, stir the product thoroughly for a consistent mix. Application can be done via brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, dilute the product, ensuring the diluent constitutes no more than 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Apply the coating following a strategic approach: start top-to-bottom, proceed left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult areas before easy ones, and criss-crossing for thorough coverage.

5. Base the desired coating thickness and number of layers on fire protection grade standards specified by design and fire authorities.

6. To maximize adhesion, ensure the initial coating thickness does not exceed 0.4mm. Each subsequent layer should only follow once the previous one has completely dried, maintaining total thickness as per design specifications.

7. Maintain construction conditions between 5ºC and 38ºC, keeping humidity below 85%. Avoid construction during rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation forms on steel surfaces.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating reaches the required thickness and has dried, apply 1-2 coats of a special topcoat for added protection and decoration. Coloring the fire-retardant coating itself is not recommended.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between consecutive coatings.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for precise construction dosage and coating thickness recommendations at each stage.

Notes

1. When using airless spraying, employ a dedicated sprayer. Avoid over-dilution to maintain product adhesion. Construction is inadvisable when wind force exceeds level 5.

2. Meticulously manage the application of product dosage during construction to guarantee that the coating thickness adheres to the stringent standards set.

3. Store prudently in an environment ranging from 0-38ºC. Ensure it is kept away from fire and heat sources to prevent any risk and always shield from sunlight exposure.

4. The product boasts a reliable storage period of 12 months, providing long-term convenience and assurance.
