Construction Technology

1. Ensure the steel structure substrate is clean and rust-free, applying a minimum of two coats of premium anti-rust primer for optimal protection.

2. Once the primer is thoroughly dry, remove any surface dust or debris before applying the fire-retardant coating to the steel structure.

3. Prior to usage, thoroughly stir the product until even. Application methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, a diluent can be added, ensuring it remains within 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to a systematic application approach: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, tackling challenging areas first, and crossing techniques.

5. Determine the appropriate coating thickness and number of layers based on the fire protection standards set by design and fire departments.

6. For optimal adhesion, the initial coating thickness should be ≤ 0.4mm. Subsequent layers are applied post-drying, until the total thickness aligns with design specifications.

7. Maintain a construction temperature between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity below 85%. Avoid construction during rain, snow, fog, high winds, or condensation.

8. Coloring the base coat is not advised.

9. Allow over 24 hours between successive coats to ensure optimal application.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for specific construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.

Considerations

1. For airless spraying, use a dedicated sprayer. Avoid excessive dilution as it may compromise adhesion. Construction should be avoided in winds over level 5.

2. Achieve optimal fireproofing results effortlessly with our Reliable Outdoor Intumescent Coating.

3. Store responsibly in environments ranging from 0-38ºC. Keep away from fire and heat sources, and prevent direct sunlight exposure to maintain the product's stellar performance.

4. Enjoy a generous 12-month storage period, providing convenience and flexibility for your project schedules.
