Construction Technology

1. Prior to application, the steel structure substrate must undergo thorough decontamination and rust-proofing. Typically, at least two coats of high-quality anti-rust primer are essential.

2. Once the primer is bone-dry, eliminate any dust or debris from the anti-rust paint surface before introducing the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Ensure the product is mixed uniformly prior to application. Preferred methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity appear excessive, a controlled amount (up to 10% of the coating) of diluent can be added to achieve the desired consistency.

4. Adhere to systematic principles during application: proceed from top to bottom, left to right, inside first then outside, tackling complex areas before easy ones, with a criss-crossing technique.

5. The coating thickness and number of layers should align with fire protection grade standards as defined by design specifications and fire authorities.

6. For optimal adhesion, the initial coating thickness must not exceed 0.4mm. Allow each layer to dry completely before applying additional coats until the total thickness matches design expectations.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity levels below 85%. Avoid application during adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or condensation on steel surfaces.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating thickness requirements are met and it has dried thoroughly, apply 1-2 coats of specialized fire-retardant topcoat for added protection and aesthetic appeal. Coloring the fire-retardant coating itself is inadvisable.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between successive coatings.

10. Refer to the latest product test report to ascertain specific construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.

Notes

1. For airless spraying, use a designated sprayer. Avoid excessive dilution, as it can compromise product adhesion. Refrain from construction when wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. Ensure unparalleled precision by meticulously controlling product dosage during application, guaranteeing that the coating thickness flawlessly meets the essential specifications.

3. Store the product in an optimal environment of 0-38ºC, ensuring it is safely distanced from fire and heat sources to prevent any risk of exposure to sunlight.

4. Boasting a robust shelf life, the product remains in prime condition for a full 12 months.
