Construction Technology
1. Prior to application, ensure thorough decontamination and rust-proofing of the steel substrate, with a minimum of two coats of premium anti-rust primer.
2. Post-drying of the primer, cleanse the surface of dust and dirt before applying the fire-retardant coating.
3. Stir the product thoroughly before use. Apply using brushing, rolling, or spraying. If too viscous, dilute with an appropriate amount, keeping within 10% of the total coating volume.
4. Follow a strategic application sequence: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult-first-then-easy, crisscrossing for optimal coverage.
5. Determine coating thickness and layers based on the specified fire protection standards set by design and fire authorities.
6. Maintain adhesion by ensuring first coating thickness does not exceed 0.4mm.
7. Optimal application conditions include temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity under 85%. Avoid application during adverse weather-rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present.
8. Once the fire-retardant coating reaches requisite thickness and is fully dry, apply 1-2 coats of a fire-retardant topcoat for protection and decoration. However, avoid coloring the fire-retardant coating itself.
9. Ensure a minimum of 24 hours between successive coatings.
10. Refer to the latest product test report for precise construction dosage and coating thickness throughout the application process.
Notes
1. Utilize a specialized sprayer for airless spraying, and refrain from over-diluting the coating to preserve adhesion quality. Application is not recommended in wind conditions exceeding level 5.
2. Exercise meticulous control over the product dosage during application to guarantee the coating thickness aligns perfectly with the required specifications, ensuring optimal performance and protection.
3. Store in a climate-controlled environment maintaining temperatures between 0-38ºC. Ensure it is kept away from any sources of fire and heat, and safeguard from direct sunlight exposure.
4. The product is designed with a robust storage life, maintaining its efficacy for a duration of 12 months.
