WCB Outdoor Fireproof Coating for Steel Structures with Ultra-Thin Finish — Solvent-based Intumescent

Harnessing the power of advanced American technology and a fully enclosed automated production process, this fireproof coating uses premium acrylic resin as its base material, coupled with a P-N intumescent flame-retardant system as its core component. Our product is a powerhouse of resilience, boasting superior weather resistance and an impressive armor against water, acids, alkalis, heat, salt spray corrosion, and UV radiation.

Construction Technology

1. Begin by thoroughly decontaminating and rust-proofing the steel structure substrate. Typically, apply at least two coats of a premium anti-rust primer for optimal results.

2. Once the primer is fully dry, ensure to cleanse the surface of any dust and dirt before proceeding with the application of our steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Prior to application, make sure to thoroughly stir the product for consistency. Application can be executed via brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should viscosity pose an issue, use a diluent sparingly, not exceeding 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to a systematic approach during application: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-before-outside, difficult-before-easy, and utilize a criss-cross pattern for flawless coverage.

5. Determine the required coating thickness and number of layers as per the fire protection standards recommended by the design and fire department.

6. To guarantee firm adhesion, the initial coating thickness must not exceed 0.4mm. Subsequent coats should only be applied once the previous layer has dried completely, ensuring total thickness aligns with design specifications.

7. Optimal construction temperatures range from 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity levels not exceeding 85%. Avoid construction during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation forms on the steel surface.

8. Coloring the base fire-retardant coating itself is not advised.

9. Ensure a time gap of at least 24 hours between successive coating applications.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for detailed guidance on specific construction dosages and coating thicknesses at each stage.

Notes

1. When opting for airless spraying, utilize a specialized sprayer. Avoid over-dilution of the coating to maintain its adhesion properties. Refrain from construction activities when wind speeds surpass level 5.

2. Ensure excellence by meticulously regulating the product dosage during construction, guaranteeing the coating thickness aligns perfectly with the specified requirements.

3. Store in a controlled environment ranging from 0-38ºC, maintaining a safe distance from fire and heat sources, while also preventing direct sunlight exposure to preserve quality.

4. Experience peace of mind with a storage period that extends to a full 12 months.
