Construction Technology

1. Prepare the steel structure's surface meticulously: it must be decontaminated and rust-proofed. Typically, apply at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer.

2. Once the primer is thoroughly dry, cleanse the surface of dust and debris before applying the fire-retardant coating.

3. Ensure the product is thoroughly stirred for consistency before application. Apply via brushing, rolling, or spraying. If high viscosity is an issue, judiciously use a diluent-up to 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to a meticulous application sequence: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-before-outside, tackling challenging areas first, followed by easier ones, in a crisscross manner.

5. Determine coating thickness and layers according to fire protection standards specified by design and fire authorities.

6. For optimal adhesion, ensure the initial coating layer is ≤ 0.4mm thick. Apply subsequent layers only after the previous one is fully dry, continuing until total thickness aligns with design specifications.

7. Maintain a controlled construction environment: temperatures between 5ºC to 38ºC, and humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid operations during inclement weather such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or condensation.

8. It's advisable not to color the fire-retardant layer.

9. Ensure a minimum 24-hour interval between consecutive coatings for optimal results.

10. Always refer to the latest product test report for precise dosage and coating thickness at each construction phase.

Notes

1. If opting for airless spraying, use a suitable sprayer to maintain quality. Avoid over-dilution, which could compromise adhesion. Refrain from construction in winds exceeding level 5.

2. Meticulously manage the precise application of our product during construction to guarantee the coating thickness aligns perfectly with the specified standards, ensuring optimal protection and performance.

3. Preserve the product in environments maintained between 0-38ºC. It is essential to keep it distant from any fire and heat sources, as well as to avoid direct sunlight exposure, safeguarding its integrity and efficacy.

4. The product is designed for a storage duration of 12 months, ensuring its reliability and usability within this period.
