Construction Technology

1. Begin by thoroughly decontaminating and applying rust protection to the steel structure's substrate. It is crucial to start with at least two layers of a first-rate anti-rust primer to ensure longevity.

2. Once the primer has completely dried, remove any lingering dust and dirt from its surface before proceeding with the application of the fire-retardant coating.

3. Ensure the product is thoroughly mixed before application. Choose between brushing, rolling, or spraying for the application method. If necessary, add a diluent but keep it within 10% of the coating volume to maintain optimal viscosity.

4. Adhere to a systematic approach for application: begin from the top and work downwards, move left to right, start inside and then proceed outside, tackle the difficult sections first, and use a criss-cross technique.

5. The thickness of the coating and the number of layers should be determined in accordance with the specific fire protection grade standards set by the design and fire authorities.

6. For optimal adhesion, ensure the first layer applied does not exceed a thickness of 0.4mm. Apply subsequent layers only after the previous one has completely dried, until the total desired thickness is achieved.

7. The ideal construction environment for this product is within a temperature range of 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity levels not surpassing 85%. Avoid construction during rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or if condensation is present on the steel surface.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating has reached the requisite thickness and is fully dry, apply 1 to 2 coats of a specialized fire-retardant topcoat, which can be colored for added protection and decorative appeal. Avoid coloring the fire-retardant base coat.

9. Maintain an interval of at least 24 hours between applying successive coating layers to ensure optimal adhesion and effectiveness.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for detailed guidance on construction dosage and coating thickness specific to each stage of the application process.

Notes

1. If opting for airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer to achieve the best results. Avoid over-diluting the coating, as excessive dilution compromises adhesion. Refrain from construction activities if wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. Rigorously manage and regulate the application dosage during construction to guarantee that the coating achieves the requisite thickness, thereby ensuring optimal protective efficacy.

3. Store in a controlled environment with temperatures between 0-38ºC, maintaining a safe distance from any fire and heat sources, while also preventing any direct exposure to sunlight.

4. The product offers a reliable storage period of up to 12 months, ensuring long-term usability and conservation.
