Construction Technology

1. Begin with a thorough decontamination and rust-proofing of the steel substrate, followed by at least two layers of premium anti-rust primer.

2. Once the primer is dry, ensure the removal of all dust and debris before applying the fire-retardant coating to the steel structure.

3. Stir the product completely for uniformity before use. Apply using brush, roller, or spray techniques. When necessary, dilute with a controlled amount of diluent, keeping it within 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Follow a systematic approach: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, from inside to outside, tackling difficult areas first, then easy ones, using a criss-cross method.

5. Determine coating thickness and layer number in compliance with design standards and fire department guidelines.

6. Ensure proper adhesion with an initial layer thickness of ≤ 0.4mm. Apply subsequent layers only after each previous layer is thoroughly dry, achieving the specified total thickness.

7. Maintain construction conditions between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity levels below 85%. Avoid working during adverse weather such as rain, snow, fog, or strong winds.

8. When the coating reaches the required thickness and is entirely dry, apply 1-2 coats of specially formulated fire-retardant topcoat for added protection and decoration. Avoid coloring the fire-retardant layer itself.

9. Allow an interval of at least 24 hours between successive coatings.

10. Consult the latest test report for accurate dosage and thickness at each construction phase.

Notes

1. Utilize a designated airless sprayer if opting for airless spraying. Avoid excessive dilution to maintain product adhesion. Refrain from construction when wind exceeds level 5.

2.

3. Store in a climate-controlled environment ranging from 0-38ºC, at a safe distance from fire and heat sources, while shielding from direct sunlight to preserve product integrity.

4. The storage period is a generous 12 months, ensuring prolonged usability and performance.
