Construction Technology

1. The steel substrate must be meticulously cleaned of impurities and treated against rust, with at least two layers of premium anti-rust primer applied for optimal protection.

2. Ensure all dust and debris are cleared from the anti-rust paint surface once it is thoroughly dry, before proceeding to apply the fire-retardant coating for steel structures.

3. Before application, thoroughly stir the product to ensure uniformity. Typically, apply by brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, adjust viscosity using a diluent, maintaining it within 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Follow strategic application methods: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-out, and from complex to simple, ensuring a criss-cross pattern for even coverage.

5. Determine the necessary coating thickness and layers in accordance with the fire protection grade requirements specified by the design and fire authorities.

6. To secure perfect adhesion, the initial layer should not exceed 0.4mm. Subsequent layers may be applied only once the preceding layer has dried completely, building up to the specified total thickness.

7. The optimal construction conditions are at temperatures between 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity levels below 85%. Avoid applying in adverse weather conditions, such as rain, snow, fog, high winds, or when condensation is present on the steel surface.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating has achieved the required thickness and dried, apply 1-2 layers of a specialized fire-retardant topcoat for protective and decorative purposes. It's advisable to avoid tinting the primary fire-retardant coating.

9. Allow at least 24 hours between subsequent coatings to ensure optimal results.

10. Refer to the product's latest test report to determine specific dosage and thickness requirements throughout each stage of application.

Notes

1. For airless spraying, employ a designated sprayer and avoid excessive dilution, which can compromise adhesion. Construction should not proceed when wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. Exercise diligent precision in controlling product dosage during application, ensuring the coating thickness seamlessly aligns with the required standards for optimal performance and longevity.

3. Preserve the product in a meticulously controlled environment with temperatures between 0-38ºC. Keep it meticulously distanced from any fire or heat sources, shielding it from the harsh rays of sunlight to maintain its integrity.

4. Benefit from an impressive storage period of 12 months, guaranteeing long-lasting usability and reliability.
