Construction Technology

1. The steel structure surface must be thoroughly cleaned and treated for rust prevention, typically requiring at least two layers of premium rust-proof primer.

2. Once the primer layer is fully dry, gently clear any dust or dirt from the anti-rust paint surface before proceeding with the application of the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Thoroughly mix the product before application. Employ brushing, rolling, or spraying methods for application. Should the coating viscosity be excessively high, a diluent may be used, limiting its addition to 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to a systematic application approach: top-down, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult-first-then-easy, ensuring a crisscross technique.

5. Tailor the coating's thickness and layer count in accordance with the design and fire department's fire protection grade standards.

6. For optimal adhesion, ensure the first coating does not exceed 0.4mm in thickness. Subsequent coatings should only be applied once the preceding layer is completely dry, continuing until the total thickness meets design specifications.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity levels below 85%. Avoid construction during adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, fog, high winds, or when condensation is present on the steel surface.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating meets the requisite thickness and is thoroughly dry, apply 1-2 protective and decorative coatings of fire-retardant special topcoat, which can be tinted. Avoid adding color to the base fire-retardant coating itself.

9. Ensure an interval exceeding 24 hours between successive coatings.

10. For precise construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage, refer to the most recent product test report.

Notes

1. For airless spraying, use a designated sprayer and prevent excessive dilution of the coating to maintain product adhesion. Construction is inadvisable when wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. It's crucial to meticulously regulate the product dosage during construction, ensuring that the coating achieves the specified thickness, thereby guaranteeing optimal performance.

3. Store the product in a controlled environment ranging from 0-38ºC, away from fire and heat sources, while avoiding direct sunlight exposure to maintain its integrity.

4. The product boasts a storage longevity of 12 months, ensuring reliability and quality throughout its shelf life.
