Construction Technology

1. Initiate the process by ensuring the steel substrate is meticulously cleaned and rust-proofed, applying a minimum of two coats of superior anti-rust primer.

2. Once the primer is thoroughly dried, remove all dust and contaminants from the anti-rust paint surface before applying the fire-retardant coating.

3. Ensure the product is evenly stirred before application. Typically, apply using brushing, rolling, or spraying techniques. If viscosity is high, utilize a diluent judiciously, ensuring it does not exceed 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to a meticulous application sequence: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-before-outside, tackling complex areas first, and crisscrossing techniques for optimal coverage.

5. Align the coating thickness and layering with fire protection grade standards provided by design and fire authorities.

6. For maximum adhesion, the initial layer must not exceed 0.4mm in thickness, ensuring each layer is completely dry before proceeding to additional layers to meet design specifications.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, ensuring humidity stays below 85%. Refrain from application during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present on the steel.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating achieves the desired thickness and dries fully, apply 1-2 coats of specialized topcoat (color optional) for added protection and aesthetics. Avoid tinting the fire-retardant layer itself.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between successive coatings.

10. Consult the latest product test report for precise guidance on construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.

Notes

1. When opting for airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer. Avoid over-diluting the coating, as this compromises adhesion. Refrain from construction when wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. During the construction phase, it is essential to meticulously regulate the product dosage to guarantee that the coating thickness aligns flawlessly with the specified requirements.

3. Store in a temperature-controlled environment of 0-38ºC, ensuring it is kept at a safe distance from fire and heat sources, while also shielding it from direct sunlight exposure.

4. The product boasts a generous storage period of 12 months, maintaining its quality and effectiveness throughout.
