Product Description

Epoxy zinc_-rich primer is a two_-component coating with epoxyresin as the base material, phosphor iron powder, rust-proof pigment, etc., and cured by polyamide. It is packed by dual components A and B. Characteristics: High shielding property, superior anti-rust property, strong adhesion, and good oil and water resistance.

 

2.Surface treatment:
The steel surface is shot blasted or sand blasted to Sa2.5 level, or manually rust-removed to St3 level.

3.Construction conditions:
The substrate temperature must be 3°C higher than the dew point, relative humidity <85%, wind force ≤ level 3; when the substrate temperature is lower than 5°C, the epoxy resin and curing agent stop reacting and construction should be stopped. Avoid rainy, foggy, windy and sandy days and condensation in the morning and evening for outdoor construction.

4.Notes:
1. Before use, use mechanical stirring to mix component A evenly, and then mix it evenly with component B.
2. Regularly stir during the coating process to prevent sedimentation, which can cause an imbalance in the powder to liquid ratio and affect the quality of the paint film.
3. It is recommended that the dry film thickness be ≥70μm, and 1 to 2 coats be completed.
4. After mixing, the two-component paint is generally used up within 5 hours. Exceeding the time may affect the coating quality.
5. After the curing agent is used up, it must be covered tightly and used up as soon as possible to prevent losses caused by reactions with water vapor in the air.
