Product description

FZ- H002 Two-Component Epoxy Glass Flake Intermediate Paint: Epoxy Resin, Glass Flakes, Additives, Solvents, etc.
FZ-H002
Epoxy glass flake intermediate paint (two-component) consists of epoxy resin, glass flakes, additives, solvents, etc

Product Description:

This two-component antirust paint is formulated with epoxy resin, glass flakes, additives, and solvents, and is packaged in two separate parts, namely Component A and Component B. The resulting paint film is tough and boasts excellent adhesion. Upon film formation, the flake-shaped glass flakes align parallelly, endowing the paint with superior sealing and anti-corrosion capabilities. Additionally, this product exhibits remarkable resistance to chemicals, water, abrasion, and aging.

Application Fields:
It is applicable to the surfaces of ports, railway bridges, petrochemical facilities, steel structures, and overhead pipelines, protecting them from erosion by corrosive media such as atmosphere, seawater, acids, alkalis, oils, salts, and chemical gases.

Surface treatment:
When applying paint onto the surface of the primer, a secondary rust removal process is required to achieve Grade St3 cleanliness. If the primer has been exposed to the atmosphere for an extended period, all contaminants such as white rust, oil stains, etc., must be removed, and any chalked paint surface should be sanded off.

Compatible Coatings

Primer: Epoxy zinc-rich primer or other epoxy primers;
Topcoat: Products such as acrylic, polyurethane, and fluorocarbon coatings.

Construction conditions:
Substrate temperature must exceed the dew point by at least 3°C, with relative humidity <85% and wind speed ≤ Level 3.Outdoor applications shall avoid rainy, foggy, or dusty conditions, as well as morning/evening dew formation.Under normal circumstances, the coated surface should not be exposed to rain within 16 hours after application.

Notes:

1.Due to the high content of powder materials in the coating, it is recommended to use mechanical stirring to thoroughly mix Component A evenly before blending it with Component B and stirring the mixture uniformly.
2.During the application process, stir the coating frequently to prevent sedimentation, which could lead to an imbalance in the ratio of powder to liquid materials and compromise the quality of the paint film.
3.The mixed two-component coating should generally be used up within 5 hours, as exceeding this time limit may affect the coating quality.
4.After use, the curing agent container must be tightly sealed and used up as soon as possible to prevent reactions with moisture in the air, which could result in losses.

Storage:

1.The product must be stored in tightly sealed containers in a well-ventilated, dry area away from direct sunlight. The recommended storage temperature range is 0-35°C.
2.The product shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Beyond this period, the product may be retested according to specifications. If compliant, it may continue to be used.

Safety:

1.Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid inhalation of mists or vapors. Prevent contact with skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.
2.When applying in confined or poorly ventilated spaces, mandatory forced ventilation and full protective equipment (respirator, gloves, goggles) must be used.
