SGNH Indoor Non-Intumescent Thick Gypsum-Based Fire-Resistant Fireproof Paint for Steel Structures

This product is composed of gypsum and lightweight thermal insulation materials, and is applied to the surface of indoor steel structures to form a fire-resistant and thermal-insulating protective layer, preventing damage to load-bearing steel structures caused by fires. The product exhibits excellent adhesion and flexibility, along with outstanding crack resistance.

Construction Technology

1. Before application, the surface of the steel structure should be thoroughly derusted, clean, and free from oil stains and dust, and an anti-rust paint should be applied.
2. To enhance the adhesion between the fire-resistant coating and the anti-corrosion primer on the steel structure, it is recommended to spray an interfacial layer. The mixing ratio for the interfacial layer coating is (powder: water: binder = 100:120:40). Stir well before application and prepare as needed.
3. Before construction, evenly mix the accelerator with water and set it aside in a container for later use. Mixing ratio: (accelerator/water = 25Kg/40 Kg).
4. Evenly mix the powder with water, open or close the air supply valve of the spray gun, move the spray gun, start the accelerator pump, and prepare for spraying.
5. Mixing ratios: Fire-resistant coating/water = 20kg/24-30kg. Fire-resistant coating/accelerator solution = 20Kg/3.3-3.7Kg. The amount of accelerator should be adjusted according to the on-site construction environment temperature and requirements by regulating the flow rate of the accelerator pump to meet the needs.
6. The spraying process should not be interrupted. If interruption occurs, the spraying machine must be cleaned immediately to prevent the material from solidifying in the barrel.
7. The product can be continuously sprayed to the designed coating thickness. Markings for product thickness can be made in advance to improve spraying efficiency.
8. After spraying is completed, thoroughly clean the spraying machine to prevent the coating from clogging the gun due to agglomeration.
9. Refer to the latest product test report for specific construction quantities and coating thicknesses at different times.

Notes
1. When using the powder material, it should be mixed in its entirety at one time to avoid uneven mixing.
Excessive use of accelerator will affect the strength of the fire-resistant coating.
2. Construction should not be carried out when the temperature is below 5ºC or above 35ºC, or when the wind speed exceeds 5m/s.
3. During storage, the material should be kept off the ground and placed in a dry, ventilated area to prevent moisture absorption and caking. Ensure proper sealing during storage and transportation to prevent moisture and rainwater infiltration, as the material will become ineffective if it gets damp.
4. The product has a shelf life of 6 months.
