Construction Technology

1. Begin with meticulous preparation: ensure the steel substrate is free of contaminants and rust, followed by an application of at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer.

2. Once the primer is thoroughly dry, clean any dust or debris before applying the fire-retardant coating for steel structures.

3. Achieve optimal results by thoroughly stirring the product before use. Apply using brushing, rolling, or spraying techniques. If necessary, adjust viscosity with a diluent, keeping it within a 10% limit of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to strategic application methods: work methodically from top to bottom, left to right, inside to out, while tackling challenging areas before easier ones, and using criss-cross strokes.

5. Align coating thickness and layers with the fire protection grade standards specified by design and fire authorities.

6. Ensure initial coating adhesion by maintaining a thickness ≤ 0.4mm. Progress with subsequent layers only after complete drying, achieving the total design-specified thickness.

7. Maintain optimal conditions: the application temperature should range from 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity not surpassing 85%. Avoid construction in rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or condensation.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating attains the desired thickness and fully dries, apply 1-2 coats of topcoat for added protection and aesthetic appeal. Coloring the fire-retardant base is not advised.

9. Allow more than 24 hours as the interval between each coating layer.

10. Consult the latest product test reports to determine precise coating thickness and construction dosage for each stage.

Notes

1. For airless spraying, a specialized sprayer is required. Limit over-dilution to preserve adhesion. Refrain from application when wind forces exceed level 5.

2. Ensure meticulous control over product dosage during application to guarantee the coating thickness aligns perfectly with the specified requirements.

3. Store in an environment with temperatures ranging from 0-38ºC. Keep it away from any fire and heat sources, and protect it from direct sunlight exposure.

4. The product enjoys a robust storage life of 12 months.
