Construction Technology
1. Prepare the steel substrate by thorough decontamination and rust-proofing, typically applying at least two layers of premium anti-rust primer.
2. Ensure the primer is completely dry, clear away any dust or debris from its surface, and then proceed with applying the fire-retardant coating.
3. Stir the product thoroughly before application. Construction methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, a diluent can be used to adjust viscosity, ensuring it does not exceed 10% of the coating volume.
4. Follow a systematic construction approach: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult-first-then-easy, and criss-crossing.
5. Adhere to fire protection grade standards to determine the appropriate coating thickness and number of layers.
6. Maintain adhesion by ensuring the first coating's thickness does not exceed 0.4mm. Allow each layer to dry thoroughly before applying the next until the overall thickness aligns with design specifications.
7. Optimal construction temperature ranges from 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid construction during rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present on the steel surface.
8. Once the fire-retardant coating achieves the required thickness and is fully dry, apply 1-2 layers of a specialized fire-retardant topcoat for enhanced protection and decorative purposes. It is advisable not to tint the fire-retardant coating.
9. Ensure a minimum 24-hour interval between successive coatings.
10. Reference the latest product test report for precise construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.
Notes
1. For airless spraying, utilize a designated sprayer and avoid excessive dilution to maintain optimal adhesion. Refrain from construction activities when wind speeds exceed level 5.
2.
3. Store in a controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 0-38ºC. Keep it a safe distance from fire and heat sources, and shield it from direct sunlight to preserve its integrity.
4. The product boasts a storage lifespan of 12 months, ensuring long-term availability and reliability.
