WCB Efficient Fireproof Coating for Steel Structures in Outdoor Environments — Solvent-based Intumescent

Our cutting-edge product uses acrylic resin as its foundation, alongside a P-N intumescent flame-retardant system as its core component. With state-of-the-art American technology and fully automated production under a sealed environment, this fireproof coating stands out with unparalleled weather resistance, water resistance, and resilience against acid, alkali, and heat exposure. Additionally, it triumphs against salt spray corrosion and ultraviolet radiation. Notably, the coating boasts high bonding strength, an extensive fire resistance limit, and an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Construction Technology

1. The steel substrate must first be decontaminated and protected against rust, requiring a minimum of two coats of premium anti-rust primer.

2. Once the primer is thoroughly dry, ensure the removal of any dust and debris from the primer surface before applying our superior steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Before application, ensure the product is thoroughly mixed. Application methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, dilute with a compatible solution, not exceeding 10% of the coating volume.

4. Adhere to a strategic application pattern: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult-first-then-easy, ensuring an even criss-cross application.

5. The thickness of the coat and number of layers should align with fire protection standards specified by design and fire authorities.

6. For optimal adhesion, the initial coat should not exceed 0.4mm in thickness. Ensure complete drying of each layer before subsequent applications until desired thickness is achieved.

7. For best results, maintain ambient construction conditions between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity below 85%. Refrain from application during rain, snow, fog, high winds, or if condensation exists on steel surfaces.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating reaches the required thickness and dries completely, apply 1-2 layers of specialized fire-retardant topcoat (customizable in color) for enhanced protection and aesthetics. Avoid coloring the primary fire-retardant coat.

9. Ensure a minimum 24-hour interval between subsequent coating applications.

10. Refer to the most recent product test reports for precise construction dosage and coating thickness recommendations at each project phase.

Notes

1. When using airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer. Avoid excessive thinning of the coating to maintain adhesion quality. Construction should be paused if wind conditions exceed level 5.

2. Meticulously regulate the application dosage during construction to guarantee the coating thickness impeccably aligns with the specified requirements.

3. Preserve in a controlled environment within the temperature range of 0-38ºC, diligently distanced from fire and heat sources, while ensuring protection from direct sunlight exposure.

4. The optimal storage duration for this product is 12 months, ensuring it remains in pristine condition.
