Construction Technology

1. Begin by ensuring the steel structure substrate is scrupulously cleaned and rust-proofed. Typically, a minimum of two layers of high-quality anti-rust primer is recommended for optimal results.

2. Once the primer has thoroughly dried, clear away any lingering dust or dirt from the surface prior to applying the fire-retardant coating for steel structures.

3. Thoroughly stir the product until it is completely uniform. Application may be achieved via brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity prove too dense, dilute with a suitable agent, ensuring no more than 10% of the coating amount is used for dilution.

4. Conduct the application process adhering to the methodical approach: top to bottom, left to right, inside before outside, tackling challenging areas first, and employing a criss-cross technique.

5. Establish the appropriate coating thickness and the number of layers based on the fire protection grade criteria set forth by your design and fire safety department.

6. The initial coating must not exceed a thickness of 0.4mm to ensure adherence. Subsequent layers should only be applied after the previous one has completely dried, continuing until the total prescribed thickness is achieved.

7. Maintain a construction temperature range between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid construction during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present.

8. Upon reaching the desired thickness and full drying of the fire-retardant coating, apply 1-2 layers of a specially formulated topcoat to enhance protection and decoration. Avoid coloring the primary fire-retardant coating.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between successive coating applications for optimal results.

10. Refer to the most recent product test reports for specific guidance on construction dosage and coating thickness at each step.

Important Notes

1. When opting for airless spraying, use designated spray equipment. Avoid over-diluting the coating to maintain adhesion integrity. Construction should be halted if wind force reaches or exceeds level 5.

2. Ensure impeccable application control by meticulously managing product dosage during construction. This guarantees that the coating thickness precisely aligns with stringent requirements, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

3. Store the product in a climate-controlled environment ranging between 0-38ºC. Safeguard it from any fire hazards and heat sources, while also preventing any exposure to direct sunlight, to maintain product integrity.

4. The product boasts a reliable storage period of 12 months, ensuring long-lasting efficacy and readiness for use.
