Construction Technology

1. Before application, the steel structure substrate must be thoroughly cleaned and rust-proofed, ensuring at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer are applied for optimal preparation.

2. Once the primer is fully cured, clear any surface dust or debris before proceeding with the application of the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Prior to use, ensure the product is thoroughly stirred for consistent application. Typical methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, a diluent may be used, but keep it within 10% of the total coating amount to maintain effectiveness.

4. Adhere to the methodical application approach: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, challenging-first-then-easy, with a criss-cross technique to ensure even coverage.

5. Determine the requisite coating thickness and layers as per the design and fire department's specified fire protection grade standards.

6. To guarantee optimal adhesion, maintain the first coat thickness at ≤ 0.4mm. Only apply subsequent layers once the prior coat has completely dried, achieving the total design-specified thickness.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid application during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present on the steel surface.

8. After achieving the required fire-retardant coating thickness and ensuring it's fully dry, apply 1-2 coats of fire-retardant special topcoat (which can be tinted for aesthetic appeal) for additional protection. Avoid coloring the main fire-retardant coating itself.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between successive coatings for best results.

10. Refer to the latest product test report to guide specific construction dosages and coating thickness needs at each application stage.

Notes

1. When employing airless spraying, utilize a specialized sprayer designed for this purpose. Minimize coating dilution to preserve adhesion integrity. Avoid application if wind speeds exceed level 5 to ensure product efficacy.

2.

3. Store the product in a controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 0-38ºC. Ensure it is kept away from any fire and heat sources, and completely shielded from sunlight exposure.

4. The storage life of this innovative product extends to a commendable 12 months.
