Construction Technology

1. Begin by meticulously preparing the steel structure substrate, ensuring it is free from contaminants and rust. Apply at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer for optimal protection.

2. Once the primer reaches full dryness, thoroughly clean the surface of any dust or dirt before proceeding with the application of the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Prior to application, ensure that the product is thoroughly stirred to a uniform consistency. Employ methods such as brushing, rolling, or spraying for application. If the viscosity proves excessive, gently incorporate a diluent, ensuring it does not exceed 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to strategic application techniques: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult-first-then-easy, and employ a criss-cross pattern to ensure comprehensive coverage.

5. Tailor the coating thickness and layers to align with the fire protection grade standards as specified by design and fire authorities.

6. In pursuit of optimal adhesion, the initial coating during the process should not exceed a thickness of 0.4mm. Subsequent layers can be applied only after the previous one has thoroughly dried, continuing until the total thickness meets design specifications.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity levels below 85%. Avoid construction during inclement weather such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present on the steel surface.

8. Upon achieving the requisite fire-retardant coating thickness and complete drying, apply 1-2 coats of the specialized fire-retardant topcoat (available in customizable colors) to enhance both protection and aesthetics. It is advisable to avoid coloring the base fire-retardant coating.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between consecutive coatings for optimal results.

10. For precise application, refer to the latest product test report for guidance on construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.

Notes

1. When employing airless spraying, it is crucial to use a specialized sprayer. Exercise caution to prevent excessive dilution, which could compromise product adhesion. Refrain from construction activities if wind speeds exceed level 5.

2.

3. Store the product in an environment with temperatures ranging from 0-38ºC. Ensure it is kept away from any fire or heat sources and prevent exposure to direct sunlight to maintain its quality.

4. The product offers a reliable storage period of 12 months, ensuring extended usability and convenience.
