Construction Technology

1. The steel framework must be thoroughly decontaminated and treated with rust-proofing measures, usually necessitating at least two layers of premium anti-rust primer.

2. Once the primer dries completely, it's essential to cleanse the surface of any residue before applying the fire-retardant coating designed for steel structures.

3. Prior to application, ensure the product is uniformly mixed. Application methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity be excessive, a diluent may be used judiciously, not exceeding 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to construction techniques of top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first then outside, difficult-first then easy, and criss-crossing to ensure uniform coverage.

5. Adjust the coating thickness and layering based on the fire protection standards as specified by design and fire authorities.

6. To maintain optimal adhesion, the initial layer during application must be ≤ 0.4mm thick. Subsequent layers should only be added once the previous is completely dry, adhering to the design's cumulative thickness requirement.

7. This product's application temperature should range between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity levels kept below 85%. Avoid applying in conditions of rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or steel surface condensation.

8. Post-achievement of the requisite fire-retardant coating thickness and complete drying, apply 1-2 layers of a specialized fire-retardant topcoat (which is color customizable) for added protection and decoration. Coloring the fire-retardant coating itself is not advised.

9. Ensure a minimum 24-hour interval between successive coatings.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for detailed guidance on specific construction dosages and coating thickness at each stage.

Notes

1. When opting for airless spraying, ensure the use of a specialized sprayer. Do not excessively dilute the coating as it may compromise the product's adherence. Application is not recommended when wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. Ensure excellence in construction by rigorously managing product dosage, guaranteeing that the coating thickness aligns impeccably with specified requirements.

3. Store in a careful environment ranging from 0-38ºC, ensuring distance from any fire and heat sources, while completely avoiding exposure to sunlight.

4. The storage duration for optimal quality is up to 12 months.
