Construction Technology

1. Prior to application, ensure the steel structure substrate is thoroughly decontaminated and rust-proofed. A minimum of two coats of premium anti-rust primer is recommended to provide a solid base.

2. Once the primer is completely dry, meticulously remove any dust and dirt from the anti-rust paint surface to prepare for the application of the fire-retardant coating.

3. Ensure the product is fully mixed to an even consistency prior to use. Application can be performed via brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should viscosity be excessive, a diluent may be utilized, controlling its addition to no more than 10% of the overall coating volume.

4. Follow a meticulous construction approach, adhering to a top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, difficult-first-then-easy, and criss-crossing method to ensure thorough coverage.

5. Determine both the coating thickness and the number of layering coats in accordance with fire protection grade standards as outlined by design and fire safety authorities.

6. To ensure optimal adhesion, the initial coating thickness during application should not exceed 0.4mm.

7. Maintain the construction temperature between 5ºC and 38ºC, ensuring humidity remains below 85%. Avoid construction during rainy, snowy, foggy, or windy conditions, or when condensation forms on steel surfaces.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating achieves the required thickness and is fully dry, apply 1-2 coats of a fire-retardant special topcoat for added protection and decoration. Avoid tinting the fire-retardant coating itself.

9. Allow an interval of at least 24 hours between successive coating applications to ensure proper adherence and performance.

10. Reference the most recent test report for precise construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage to guarantee optimal results.

Notes

1. When utilizing airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer. Avoid over-dilution of the coating to maintain adhesive strength. Refrain from construction activities when wind force exceeds level 5.

2.

3. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place with temperatures between 0-38ºC, safely distanced from fire and heat sources, while avoiding direct sunlight exposure.

4. Offers a reliable storage duration of 12 months.
