Construction Technology

1. Begin by thoroughly decontaminating and rust-proofing the steel structure substrate, with the application of at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer as a standard procedure.

2. Once the primer dries completely, ensure the removal of any dust and impurities from the anti-rust paint surface before applying the fire-retardant coating for the steel.

3. Prior to use, ensure the product is evenly stirred to perfection. The application process typically involves brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity prove excessive, carefully dilute using a diluent, maintaining the amount within 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to methodical application principles: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, starting from the inside to the outside, tackling more challenging areas first, and employing a criss-crossing technique.

5. Assess the requisite coating thickness and number of layers in accordance with the fire protection grade standards as stipulated by both design and fire authorities.

6. During application, to ensure optimal adhesion, the initial layer's thickness must not exceed 0.4mm. Subsequent layers can only be applied once the preceding layer has completely dried, progressing until the aggregate thickness achieves design specifications.

7. It is crucial to maintain the construction temperature within the range of 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity levels below 85%. Construction should be avoided during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong wind, or when condensation occurs on the steel surface.

8. Upon achieving the required thickness and once the coating is thoroughly dry, 1-2 layers of a special fire-retardant topcoat (which may be colored) can be applied for added protection and decoration. Direct coloring of the fire-retardant coating is not recommended.

9. A minimum interval of 24 hours should be observed between successive coating applications.

10. For precise guidance on construction dosage and coating thickness at each phase, refer to the latest product test report.

Notes

1. Should airless spraying be the chosen method, a specialized sprayer is mandatory. Avoid over-diluting the coating to maintain adhesion quality. Refrain from construction when wind force exceeds level 5.

2.

3. Preserve our exceptional product in an environment ranging between 0-38ºC. Safeguard it from fire and heat sources, and vigilantly prevent any exposure to sunlight.

4. Our well-crafted product boasts a storage period of up to 12 months, ensuring sustained quality.
