Construction Technology

1. Begin by meticulously decontaminating and rust-proofing the steel structure substrate, ensuring at least two coats of top-tier anti-rust primer are applied.

2. Once the primer is thoroughly dry, cleanse the surface of any residual dust and grime before proceeding with the fire-retardant coating application.

3. Ensure thorough mixing of the product before application. Utilize brushing, rolling, or spraying methods for application. If necessary, carefully adjust viscosity with a diluent, not exceeding 10% of the coating volume.

4. Conduct the application following an efficient sequence: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-outside, complex-to-simple, and employing a criss-cross technique.

5. Align coating thickness and layers with fire protection grade standards outlined by design and fire authorities.

6. To guarantee adhesion, maintain the first layer's thickness at ≤ 0.4mm. Only apply subsequent layers after the preceding layer is entirely dry, adhering to designed thickness requirements.

7. Maintain construction temperature between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity under 85%. Refrain from working during rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present on the steel.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating's thickness is achieved and it is fully dry, apply 1-2 coats of specialized fire-retardant topcoat for added protection and aesthetic finesse. Avoid coloring the fire-retardant layer itself.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between successive coatings.

10. Adhere to the latest test report for precise dosage and coating thickness at each construction phase.

Notes

1. If opting for airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer. Avoid excessive dilution to preserve adhesion quality. Halt construction if wind exceeds level 5.

2. Enforce meticulous control over the product application during construction to ensure the coating thickness precisely satisfies all specified requirements, guaranteeing optimal protection.

3. Maintain storage within a controlled environment of 0-38ºC, ensuring the product is kept away from any fire or heat sources, and is shielded from direct sunlight exposure.

4. The product boasts a generous storage lifespan of 12 months.
