Sophisticated Construction Technology Guidelines
1. The steel structure must be meticulously decontaminated and rust-proofed; typically, a minimum of two layers of premium anti-rust primer is recommended.
2. Ensure the primer is thoroughly dry, then cleanse the anti-rust paint surface to remove dust and dirt prior to applying the fire-retardant coating.
3. Prior to application, ensure the product is uniformly stirred. Application can be executed via brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity prove excessive, a diluent can be introduced, maintaining a maximum of 10% of the total coating volume.
4. Conduct the application in a methodical manner: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-then-outside, tackling difficult areas first, and employing a criss-cross technique.
5. The thickness and number of coating layers should align with the fire protection grade standards as prescribed by design and fire authorities.
6. To ensure optimal adhesion, the initial coating must not exceed a thickness of 0.4mm. Apply subsequent layers only after the preceding layer is fully dry, continuing until the total thickness meets the design criteria.
7. Maintain the application temperature between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity levels not exceeding 85%. Avoid application during rain, snow, fog, high winds, or when condensation is present on steel surfaces.
8. Once the required thickness is achieved and the coating is dry, apply 1-2 layers of fire-retardant special topcoat for protective and decorative purposes. Note, coloring of the fire-retardant coating itself is not advised.
9. Ensure a minimum 24-hour interval between applying successive coating layers.
10. Refer to the latest product test report for detailed guidance on construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.
Important Notes
1. For airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer. Avoid over-diluting the coating to preserve adhesion integrity. Application is not advisable when wind speeds exceed level 5.
2. Ensure precise control over product dosage during application to guarantee the coating reaches the required thickness and delivers optimal performance.
3. Store in a temperature-controlled environment between 0-38ºC. Keep the product away from open flames and heat sources, and avoid direct sunlight exposure to maintain its integrity.
4. The product has a guaranteed storage life of 12 months, ensuring longevity and reliability.
