Construction Technology

1. Begin by meticulously decontaminating and securing the steel structure substrate with rust-proofing measures. Generally, apply no less than two coats of premium anti-rust primer for optimal protection.

2. Ensure the primer is thoroughly dry before gently eliminating any surface dust and dirt, paving the way for the application of the fire-retardant coating tailored for steel structures.

3. Prior to application, ensure the product is uniformly stirred. Common application methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity prove too thick, it may be diluted sparingly with a diluent, not exceeding 10% of the coating amount.

4. Follow strategic application principles: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-before-outside, and from complex to simple areas, ensuring a seamless criss-cross application.

5. Adhere to the fire protection grade standards established by design and fire departments to determine the precise coating thickness and requisite number of layers.

6. To guarantee superior adhesion, the first layer's thickness during application must not exceed 0.4mm. Subsequent layers should only be applied once the previous one is thoroughly dry until the desired total thickness is achieved.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity not surpassing 85%. Avoid construction during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or steel surface condensation.

8. Once the fire-retardant coating's thickness requirements are fulfilled and it is completely dry, apply 1-2 coats of fire-retardant special topcoat for added protection and decoration. Coloring of the primary fire-retardant coating is discouraged.

9. Ensure a minimum 24-hour interval between previous and subsequent coatings.

10. Consult the latest product test reports to determine specific construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage for optimal results.

Notes

1. Utilize a designated sprayer for airless spray applications. Exercise caution to avoid excessive dilution, which could compromise product adhesion. Refrain from construction when wind levels exceed force 5.

2. Meticulously manage the product dosage during application to guarantee that the coating thickness aligns perfectly with the specified standards. This ensures optimal protection and performance.

3. Maintain storage conditions within a temperature range of 0-38ºC. It is crucial to keep the product away from fire hazards and heat sources, as well as to shield it from direct sunlight exposure.

4. The product boasts a commendable storage period of 12 months, ensuring its longevity and effectiveness over time.
