Construction Technology

1. Begin by decontaminating and rust-proofing the steel structure substrate. Apply at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer for optimal protection.

2. Ensure that the primer is thoroughly dry. Clear any dirt or dust from the surface before proceeding with the application of the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Prior to use, stir the product until it is evenly mixed. Application methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. If the mixture is too viscous, dilute with a suitable agent, ensuring dilution does not exceed 10% of the total coat amount.

4. Adhere to a methodical approach: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first, then outside, tackling difficult areas before easy ones, and utilizing a criss-cross pattern for best results.

5. Base the coating thickness and number of layers on the fire protection grade standards provided by design and fire regulations.

6. To ensure strong adhesion, the initial coating should be ≤ 0.4mm thick. Only apply subsequent coats after the prior layer has dried fully until the design-specified total thickness is achieved.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC with humidity below 85%. Avoid application during rain, snow, fog, strong wind, or when condensation is present on steel surfaces.

8. Coloring the fire-retardant coating itself is not recommended.

9. Ensure a minimum interval of 24 hours between successive coatings for optimal results.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for specific construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage for precise application.

Notes

1. For airless spraying, employ a specialized sprayer. Excessive dilution compromises adhesion, thus avoid over-thinning. Refrain from application when wind speeds exceed level 5 for safety and effectiveness.

2. It is imperative to meticulously regulate the dosage of the product during application to guarantee that the coating achieves the prescribed thickness, thereby ensuring optimal performance and protection.

3. Maintain storage within a climate-controlled environment of 0-38ºC. Safeguard against proximity to fire and heat sources, and shield from direct sunlight exposure to preserve product integrity.

4. The product boasts a commendable storage lifespan of 12 months, providing ample time for utilization and strategic planning.
