Construction Technology

1. Ensure the steel structure substrate is thoroughly cleaned and rust-proofed with at least two layers of high-quality anti-rust primer applied.

2. Once the primer dries completely, clean any residual dust and dirt from the anti-rust paint surface before applying the fire-retardant coating for steel structures.

3. Thoroughly stir the product until even before application. Apply using brush, roller, or sprayer. If viscosity is too high, a regulated amount of diluent (not exceeding 10% of the coating volume) may be used.

4. Adhere to the construction method: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-first-outside-later, tackle difficult areas first, and follow a criss-cross pattern for optimal results.

5. Determine the necessary coating thickness and number of layers based on fire protection grade standards provided by design and fire authorities.

6. For optimal adhesion, the initial coat should be ≤ 0.4mm thick. Subsequent layers can be applied only after the preceding coat fully dries, ensuring total thickness aligns with design specifications.

7. Maintain construction temperature between 5ºC and 38ºC, with humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid application during rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation forms on the steel surface.

8. Once fire-retardant coating thickness is achieved and dried, apply 1-2 layers of specialized fire-retardant topcoat (which can be colored) for added protection and aesthetic enhancement. Coloring the fire-retardant coating is not recommended.

9. Allow an interval of more than 24 hours between successive coatings.

10. For precise construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage, refer to the latest product test report.

Notes

1. When employing airless spraying, utilize a specialized sprayer. Avoid excessive dilution to preserve product adhesion. Refrain from construction when wind force surpasses level 5.

2. Meticulously regulate the product dosage during construction to guarantee that the coating thickness precisely aligns with the stipulated specifications.

3. Maintain an ideal storage environment of 0-38ºC, ensuring it remains distant from any fire or heat sources and is shielded from direct sunlight.

4. This product boasts a storage period of twelve months, maintaining its efficacy throughout this duration.
