Product description
Durable Outdoor Ultra-thin Intumescent (Oil-based) Fireproof Coating for Steel Structures
This remarkable product employs acrylic resin as its foundational material, combined with a P-N intumescent flame-retardant system as its primary component. Engineered using cutting-edge American technology and produced in a fully enclosed, automated setting, it demonstrates outstanding weatherproof capabilities, including superior resistance to water, acids, and alkalis. It also withstands heat exposure, salt spray corrosion, and damaging ultraviolet radiation. Moreover, the coating boasts unique qualities such as exceptional bonding strength, prolonged fire resistance limits, and an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Construction Technology
1. Ensure the steel structure substrate is free from contaminants and rust. Apply at least two layers of a premium anti-rust primer to prepare the surface effectively.
2. Once the primer has dried thoroughly, clean off any dust and dirt before applying the fire-retardant coating designed for steel structures.
3. Thoroughly stir the product before use. Construction is commonly performed by brushing, rolling, or spraying. Should the viscosity be excessive, a diluent can be added sparingly, ensuring it does not exceed 10% of the total coating volume.
4. Follow systematic application guidelines: start from top to bottom, work from left to right, prioritize inside areas first, and tackle challenging sections before easier ones, utilizing a crisscross pattern.
5. Determine the necessary coating thickness and number of layers based on the fire protection grade standards specified by the design and fire authority.
6. To guarantee optimal adhesion, the initial coating layer must not exceed a thickness of 0.4mm. Subsequent layers can only be applied once the previous layer has completely dried, continuing until the cumulative thickness adheres to design specifications.
7. The construction environment should maintain a temperature range of 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid construction during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or condensation on the steel surface.
8. Once the fire-retardant coating achieves the required thickness and is fully dry, apply 1-2 coats of a special fire-retardant topcoat for added protection and decoration. While the topcoat can be colored, avoid tinting the fire-retardant layer itself.
9. Allow at least a 24-hour interval between each coating layer to ensure optimal results.
10. Reference the latest test reports for specific construction dosages and coating thickness requirements at each phase of the project.
Notes
1. If opting for airless spraying, utilize a specialized sprayer. Avoid over-diluting the coating, as this can compromise adhesion quality. Refrain from construction when wind speeds exceed level 5.
2. Maintain meticulous precision in controlling the product dosage during application to guarantee the coating thickness aligns impeccably with the specified standards.
3. Safeguard the product by storing it within environments maintained at temperatures ranging from 0-38ºC. Ensure it is kept away from any fire or heat sources, and shield it from direct sunlight exposure.
4. With optimal storage, the product remains in prime condition for a duration of 12 months.
