Construction Technology

1. Begin with decontaminating and rust-proofing the steel structure substrate. Generally, apply at least two coats of premium anti-rust primer.

2. Ensure the anti-rust primer is fully dry before removing any dust and dirt from its surface. Then, proceed with applying the steel structure fire-retardant coating.

3. Stir the product thoroughly before use. Application methods include brushing, rolling, or spraying. If necessary, use a diluent to adjust viscosity, limiting the addition to 10% of the total coating volume.

4. Adhere to a systematic approach by applying the coating from top to bottom, left to right, inside before outside, and tackling difficult areas before easy ones, proceeding in a criss-cross manner.

5. Tailor the coating thickness and number of layers according to the fire protection grade standards as specified by the design and fire authorities.

6. Ensure optimal adhesion by maintaining the first coating thickness at ≤ 0.4mm. Allow each layer to dry completely before applying the next, until the total thickness aligns with design specifications.

7. Maintain construction temperatures between 5ºC and 38ºC, ensuring humidity does not exceed 85%. Avoid construction during rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or when condensation is present on the steel surface.

8. Post-application, once the fire-retardant coating achieves the required thickness and is fully dry, consider applying 1-2 layers of a special fire-retardant topcoat for protection and visual enhancement. Refrain from coloring the fire-retardant layer itself.

9. Allow more than 24 hours between each subsequent coating application.

10. Refer to the latest product test report for precise construction dosage and coating thickness for each phase.

Notes

1. When employing airless spraying, utilize a designated sprayer. Avoid over-diluting the coating to ensure proper adhesion. Refrain from construction if wind speeds exceed level 5.

2. Ensure precision in product application during construction! By meticulously controlling the product dosage, we guarantee that the coating thickness flawlessly aligns with the specified requirements, providing reliable protection.

3. Store under optimal conditions! Maintain the environment at a safe 0-38ºC. Keep it away from fire and heat sources, and shield it from direct sunlight, to preserve product quality.

4. Enjoy a generous storage lifespan! Our product boasts a remarkable storage period of 12 months, ensuring long-lasting reliability.
