Construction Technology
1. Begin with thorough decontamination and rust-proofing of the steel substrate, typically applying at least two high-quality anti-rust primer coats.
2. Once the primer is completely dry, ensure all dust and debris are removed from the anti-rust paint surface before applying the fire-retardant coating.
3. Stir the product thoroughly before application. Utilize methods such as brushing, rolling, or spraying. If needed, a diluent may be used to adjust viscosity, not exceeding 10% of the coating volume.
4. Adhere to construction principles: top-to-bottom, left-to-right, inside-out, tackle challenging areas first, and use a criss-cross technique.
5. Align coating thickness and layering with the fire protection grade standards from the design and fire department.
6. Ensure adhesion by maintaining the first layer's thickness to ≤ 0.4mm, applying subsequent coats only after complete drying, until design specifications are met.
7. Optimal construction temperature ranges from 5ºC to 38ºC, with humidity not exceeding 85%. Avoid construction during adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or steel surface condensation.
8. Once the fire-retardant coating achieves the required thickness and is fully dry, apply 1-2 coats of protective, decorative fire-retardant topcoat, which can be colored. It's recommended not to color the fire-retardant coating itself.
9. Maintain an interval of more than 24 hours between subsequent coatings.
10. Reference the latest product test report for accurate construction dosage and coating thickness at each stage.
Notes
1. When using airless spraying, ensure a specialized sprayer is employed. Avoid over-dilution to maintain product adhesion, and refrain from construction if wind forces exceed level 5.
2.
3. Our product should be stored in a carefully maintained environment of 0-38ºC, ensuring it is kept away from any fire or heat sources and shielded from direct sunlight, thus preserving its exceptional quality and effectiveness.
4. Enjoy peace of mind with our product's robust longevity, offering a generous storage period of 12 months, ensuring reliability and readiness when you need it most.
