Product Description:

Two-component coating composed of epoxy resin, iron oxide red, anti-corrosive pigments, additives, and thinners, packaged in Component A and Component B. This product features rapid drying speed, excellent physical and mechanical properties of the film, and superior anti-corrosive performance.

Widely used for anti-corrosion protection of engineering machinery and steel structures.

Surface treatment:
The steel surface is shot blasted or sand blasted to Sa2.5 level, or manually rust-removed to St3 level.

Construction conditions:
Substrate temperature must exceed the dew point by at least 3°C, with relative humidity <85% and wind speed ≤ Level 3.Outdoor applications shall avoid rainy, foggy, or dusty conditions, as well as morning/evening dew formation.Under normal circumstances, the coated surface should not be exposed to rain within 16 hours after application.

 

Notes:

1.For difficult-to-coat areas of steel such as corners, dents, and weld seams, to prevent coating defects like bubbles and pinholes from forming in these areas, first apply a local brush coat with a brush, then proceed with large-area painting.
2.If multiple coats are required to increase the film thickness, after the completion of the previous coat and before applying the next coat, the previous coat should be inspected. Inspection items include dryness and thickness, as well as the presence of bubbles, pinholes, wrinkles, etc., so that timely adjustments and treatments can be made during the next coating process.

 

Storage:

1.The product must be stored in tightly sealed containers in a well-ventilated, dry area away from direct sunlight. The recommended storage temperature range is 0-35°C.
2.The product shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Beyond this period, the product may be retested according to specifications. If compliant, it may continue to be used.

 

Safety:

1.Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid inhalation of mists or vapors. Prevent contact with skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.
2.When applying in confined or poorly ventilated spaces, mandatory forced ventilation and full protective equipment (respirator, gloves, goggles) must be used.
